Dr. Lindsey Luke
Dr. Lindsey grew up on a small farm outside of Central City, and attended the University of Iowa majoring in health and sports studies for her undergraduate work. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated on June 17, 2011. While at Palmer, she was on the dean’s list, president of Activator Club, and was a teacher's assistant for Neuroanatomy 1. She also took extra courses in Activator Methods and received an advanced proficiency rating while still a student in September 2009.
She currently resides in Cedar Rapids and has been married since 2007 to her husband, Kevin. She is also mom to a set of adorable twins, Cassius and Aislinn born in January 2015. When you stop in the office you will see plenty of pictures of them, or maybe even one of them will be there! Dr. Lindsey enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and being active. You may see them on the Cedar River trail cycling, running or walking with the twins and their American Bulldog, Stella.
Dr. Lindsey has a diplomate in acupuncture through the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncturists, is certified in the Webster technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and is a Birthfit professional.
Dr. Lacey Hamlett
Dr. Lacey grew up in Cedar Rapids, later attending the University of Northern Iowa studying Biology. She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, graduating on February 24, 2017. Dr. Lacey performs manual adjusting techniques like Diversified, Thompson and Gonstead, as well as low-force techniques like Activator. She received her advanced proficiency for Activator methods in 2017.
She is currently finishing her basic certification in chiropractic acupuncture through the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncturists.
Dr. Lacey loves to spend her free time with her family and friends. She enjoys the warm weather, being outdoors and live music. She looks forward to serving people of all ages from her hometown of Cedar Rapids!
Karissa is our amazing office manager; she keeps everything running smoothly! Karissa grew up in Clinton, IA and moved to Anamosa 3 years ago where she now lives with her husband and 3 kids. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, being outside and shopping. Karissa graduated from Carlson College of Massage Therapy in February 2015 and is very interested in natural healthcare and healing!
Jody Wohlers is our massage therapist. She was born and raised in WI and is an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger Fan! She moved to Iowa in 1982 to marry her husband Brian. They have 4 adult children and are now grandparents to 3 adorable boys with a granddaughter due in August 2018.
Jody graduated from Capri College of Massage Therapy in Cedar Rapids in 2011 and immediately completed another 75 hrs of medical massage training. She later became certified in Compassionate Touch, a technique designed specifically for those with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and those in hospice care.
Jody has a passion to help people of all ages experience optimal health through massage therapy and essential oils. Besides her work at Coldstream Health she works at 2 Senior Living facilities in the area where many of her clients are in their 80s and 90s.
Jody previously had an elementary teaching degree and substitute taught in the Cedar Rapids area. She is now excited to be educating people about the health benefits of massage and the power of essential oils and how to use them safely and effectively for improved physical and emotional wellbeing.
When she’s not working Jody and her husband enjoy being outside working in the yard, going for walks, traveling to Colorado and Seattle and being with their children and grandchildren.
Vanessa is our office assistant and is currently training to become a massage therapist! Vanessa was born and raised in sunny South Miami, Florida. She relocated to Cedar Rapids in December 2011 with her husband and son. Since then her family has grown adding a daughter and two fur babies.
She is passionate about natural healthcare, healing, and wellness. Vanessa is excited to begin massaging clients in the summer of 2019!
When she is not working Vanessa loves to spend time with her family, hiking, yoga, cooking, and making her own skincare products.
